Signed up for a 90 day free Premium trial but was charged

On the app there was a banner for getting a 90day free trial of fitbit premium. I signed up but was charged $9.99 right away.  Has anyone else has this issue?  So much for free trial... Smh

Exact same thing has happened to me. I'm a pharmacist under decent amount of pressure at the moment so haven't really had time to look into what exactly has happened and how  to fix it but it's really quite annoying.

>From what ive found out it was only to new members who have neve had the
premium feature. I feel this is false advertising as it does not say to
new members. I told fitbit i wanted my money b as ck however they said no,
so i filed a claim with google.

I signed up as well and no where did it say that it wasn’t available if you’d had a free trial before.

I’m furious with Fitbit as they’ve taken £80 from my bank account. I’ve emailed the support team and if they don’t resolve this and give me my money back I will be filing a complaint with Apple.

The free trial is misleading and fraudulent and I am so disappointed in FitBit. I have been a customer since they first started.

I had this issue too, but I noticed Google Play was about to charge me after just one week and I cancelled my trial.

I've never done the free trial before (as far as I can recall, and I searched my email as well), so this really seems like a bug on their end. Oh well.

That was a free week trial that we all have you did the right thing to cancel otherwise you would have been charged

You should be offered a 90 day free trial but dont take it as you will be charged as someone who has already had a 7 day trial it's very misleading

I'm a new Fitbit Premium user and I too was charged for the month. I contacted support and am waiting for an answer. Hopefully they'll refund the amount and give me the 90 days.

I got an answer from fitbit. They say that I have a fitbit premium account associated with my email and that the 90 day trial is for new premium users.

So basically a new user will activate the free trial thinking it's for 90 days, will be charged after 7 days making them not a new user, will contact support about this and will be told too bad you're not a new user anymore.....

I did send my purchase history and asked for a refund.

My purchase history shows my free trial on March 25 and none before that so I know they are considering that one as my previous free trial.
