Sleep profile animal not crediting nights of sleep

Hi,

My sleep stages and scores are both calculated. Still I see that only 1 night of sleep is logged for sleep profile animal statistics. It is now 9th of July and I am able to see sleep stages and scores for all the days of July but still it says ”1 night logged” in the sleep profile section below the sleep score graph. Can someone help?

I sync my device everyday and keep it with decent battery level. I have Inspire 3 and I use IOS app.

My monthly Sleep profile stopped tracking my sleep.

It's been reset, so I now only have 1 night logged ?

Anyone else experienced this problem, and knows how to solve it?

Best Answer

Hi, @Tilde01 , do you mean you did a factory reset?  A simple restart will not cause the loss of any data.  However, if you do the factory reset it will clear all user data.  In that case you will lose all unsynced data.  However, your app should still contain all previously synced data.

Could you be a little more specific about what you are seeing?

I haven't done anything.

When I woke up this morning, the progress bar was resetted to 1 night, but I have worn it to bed the entire month.

How do you reset?

Same..mine quit 5 days ago

Hi, @nik1234, welcome to the community. You may find this article of interest How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? , in particular, the section on "What is my sleep profile", I apologise if you have already seen this. Note -

On the 1st of each month, you receive a breakdown of your sleep with 10 monthly metrics, along with a sleep animal that reflects long-term trends in your sleep behaviors.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

I have a premium account and have 10 nights worth of sleep stage included results for July. However, I’m only being credited with 3 nights of sleep towards my first sleep profile for July as of the last couple days. Please help.

I’ve gotten sleep results with sleep stages every night this month, but sometime in the last few days the tracker for this is only crediting me for 3 nights (out of the 15 required for a sleep profile):

Please advise on the fix of this bug— it was still working when the month started but I then “lost” some days in the tally and it’s been stuck at three for at least several days now

@SlowLoris99 Hello, I would try deleting the Sleep tile from your app and then adding it back. To do this, follow these steps:

  • From the Today screen, tap the Edit button in the right hand corner
  • Find the Sleep tile and tap the X next to it.
  • Tap Done (right hand corner)
  • Tap Edit again
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Today screen and tap Add next to the Sleep tile

This may not fix the 3 nights that are counted currently, but hopefully going forward it will start adding days back again. Keep me posted if the days do not continue to add up and stay stuck on 3 nights of sleep.

I have that exact same problem. App says I've only logged a couple nights, but yet it has also has recorded data for EVERY night -. I have no idea why some nights are "logged" for the animal stats and some are not.

I’m having this same problem. I’ve worn mine every night (except 1) since June 20th. Only have 13 nights logged though. My sleep times all show up, but the logged nights for the animal profile shows only 13.

Hi,

Hi everyone,

I would like to follow up on this issue.

While the topic is labelled as “answered”, I still experience the problem of not having my night of sleep accounted for the sleep profile.

I created this new topic as I did not receive an answer on the old one. If someone could confirm that the dev team intend to correct the problem, I would gladly delete this topic to avoid duplicates, on go back to the original one.

Kind regards,

It’s happening for me as well. I sync every morning and it’s not showing any progress for September. I didn’t have any issues until my premium trial ran out and I waited 2 weeks before deciding to buy at the end of August. At the end of August it said I would get a profile on 9/1, but I didn’t. Now for September nothing. I’ve been getting nowhere with support on X/Twitter.

I have had problems getting Sleep Stages and Sleep Score on a Versa 3 from  June of 2022 to late August of 2023 and now on a Sense 2 since late August of 2023.  I cannot tell that any fixes by the "team" have resolved ANYTHING.  Furthe, I cannot conclusively verify that my Fitbit Premium account is really communicating with my device even though the app on my Android device says that I do have a Premium account.

I have other issues with the results that I am seeing but I will wait a day or two to address them.

BTW, I am 76 years old and have been overly patient for 14 months + in trying to resolve the issue.  I had a verly long chat with a Fitbit rep last October.
