Steps and miles not syncing to bingo challenge

Please help!  I have the Versa 2 and have been having problems with my steps and miles correctly syncing to my bingo challenges.  I already deleted my Fitbit app on my iPhone and reset the Fitbit to the factory settings and nothing has changed.  Can anyone help me?

@Jselmon A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for sharing what you're experiencing with the Get Fit Bingo Challenge.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. There are some factors that may affect your overall steps count:

  • Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your device are counted toward challenges.
  • You used MobileRun or a third party app instead of the actual device.
  • All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

Once you've confirmed the above, please make sure that your Fitbit is always syncing to your app, this will ensure that all your data is syncing to your Challenges.

Let me know the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I'm having the same issue. My main fitbit screen says I've walked a distance of 1.5 miles and in bingo it only says .5, what causes this?

hi

im having this issue. I’m not using any third party apps. Yesterday I did approx 15,000 steps yet Bingo only showed 582....this keeps happening. I’ve deleted the app, I’ve removed my charge 3 from the app & re added it. Nothing works. I’m only playing with other people in the UK

Same issue - Get Fit Bingo is not registering the actual steps or miles, but the app is registering everything, even the other challenges are registering actual activity - just the game itself is not registering actual activity.

@Candi19 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate that you mentioned your steps and miles are registering in other Challenges but not this one. I would like you to log out from the app, force quit it, make sure you have installed the latest app version and double check the information again.

If you're still experiencing this, please let me know the phone model and OS installed.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Have already done these steps and NO, it's not working. I am on an iPhone 11 with iOS 14.0.

Hey, so as this support community was of ZERO help I ended up sending a bit of a crappy message via Facebook messenger and got a reponse.  I did these steps and it worked for me.....

Turn off Bluetooth

Go into your iPhone Settings > General > iPhone storage > Fitbit > Delete

Restart the iPhone

Go to App store and download the Fitbit app

Restart your Fitbit

Turn on your bluetooth

Sync your Fitbit to your app

Since doing this I've not had the problem re-occur

@Candi19 @texasflame Hi there. Thank you for letting me know that you're both using iPhone devices.

As mentioned by @JulesGeorge please confirm you have tried this troubleshooting that has worked for others:

- Turn off Bluetooth
- Go into your iPhone Settings > General > iPhone storage > Fitbit > Delete
- Restart the iPhone
- Go to App store and download the Fitbit app
- Restart your Fitbit
- Turn on your bluetooth
- Sync your Fitbit to your app

I'll be around if you have any additional questions!

I’ve done all of that and it didn’t work.

I do have a 2nd Fitbit watch which was also auto syncing and once I unlinked that one to the iPhone app, things now appear to be working by only having one watch linked to the watch.

@Candi19 Thank you for getting back. I appreciate the time you've spent troubleshooting this with me.

I'm glad to hear that after your second Fitbit watch was removed from your account, it started working properly. Keep in mind that you need to wear one device at a time this to avoid overlapping data, learn more about it by checking this article: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions!
