Subscribed for the 90-day Premium trial and was immediately charged

I registered to Fitbit, connected my inspire hr to my phone. A page came up that says start your 90 days trial. I clicked it. Phone read my fingerprint and it was done.

However, when I checked the subscriptions page in App Store, I saw that what I subscribed for was not 90 days trial but a regular monthly subscription. Consequently, 9 euros was cut from my bank account.

For this issue, I had a chat with the support team and they told me that the subscription is not refundable. So my question is, as 6 years of iPhone user, I have never had such a subscription experience. I never clicked for the trial button and charged directly, at the same minute, because of it. I would like to get help and a refund.

Is there anyone who had the same issue? I would like to get another person's opinion who works in Fitbit customer service.

Hi there @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing those details in your post.

Do you have a family or friends on your app store account? Please note the free Premium trial is offered once per app store account, not Fitbit account. So, if you're sharing your app store account with friends or family, please be informed you were charged because a previous family member or friend under your app store account has already used the free trial for their app store account.

If this is not the case, please note the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call once again. Click here to get connected.

I've moved your post to Fitbit Premium for organization purposes.
