I have a Google Pay account set up under one of my GMail addresses but I also have another GMail account that is does not have a Google Pay account. When I try to sign up for Fitbit Premium, Fitbit tries to access the GMail account without Google Pay and I get an "insufficient balance" error. I have used Google Pay numerous times in the past and I have no trouble accessing my Google Pay account on my Android phone. I cannot figure out how to get Fitbit to access the proper GMail account with the Google Pay account.
Here are two screen shots showing the Error message and the Google Pay account that Fitbit tries to access. I obscured part of the Gmail address to avoid revealing my email address to everyone who reads this post.
I have an open Fitbit Phone Inquiry on this issue but it has been more than a month and they have not been able to resolve the issue. You would think that since Fitbit is a Google (Alphabet) company, they would be able to figure how to make this work.

I saw an answer from another user, Rose2022, in the Community that was the answer to this problem. I did what she suggested: cleared the app cache & data, uninstall, and reinstall. I was then able to sign up for Premium without a problem. Case closed, thanks to Rose2022.

Yes, I reached out to the Support Team AGAIN since I have heard from them after I reached out to them more than two weeks ago. Should I expect different results this time? I heard that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. I guess that makes me insane.
I meant since I have "NOT heard from them after I reached out to them more than two weeks ago."

Thanks! I did hear back from Fitbit Support today but they did not have an answer for the problem. They said that Fitbit uses the account that is registered in the Google Play Store but the Gmail account that Fitbit keeps trying to use is not the account registered in the Play Store. They suggested I contact Google but I am not having any problem with my Google Pay app or the Google Play Store. Both seem to be working fine. The only time I encounter a problem is with the Fitbit app trying to access the Google payment. It seems rather ridiculous to contact Google with a problem that only exists with the Fitbit app. Fitbit Support is only providing pat answers and they don't seem to be willing to investigate the problem. I suggested they escalate the issue. From the progress I'm making, it looks like I will have to give up subscribing to Premium.
