Videos won't download with WiFi

My Coach videos won't download on any WiFi. I have to use data to download the videos, which has eaten my data up like crazy. Is there any reason for this or any way to fix it?

Hi @Guinitrix -- Let us know what phone/OS you are using.  It will be easier for others to help if they can.

They download fine in my iPhone Xs.  When I look at settings for the app, I've got background refresh and cellular data on.  If you have an iPhone maybe try turning off cellular data so you can force the phone to use WiFi?

FYI - I moved this thread to the Fitbit Coach forum so we could get better feedback.

A warm welcome to the Community @Guinitrix and @Baltoscott thanks for the input.

If you are having problem downloading your videos, I recommend trying the following:

  1. Verify that your device has a strong internet connection.
  2. Force quit and restart the Fitbit Coach app.
  3. Check for updates in Google Play, the Microsoft Store, or the Apple App Store to see if an update is available for the Fitbit Coach app.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit Coach app.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy
