What's the added value of Fitbit Premium?

So I just got premium just to check it out, hoping it would give me a better overview of the amount of data collected, but that doesn't seem to be the case? On the app on the phone, the only real differences seem to be that there's a bit more of a breakdown of sleep, and you can see 30 days of health metrics instead of 7? Those are the only 2 Differences I can see.

What I also noticed is that premium doesn't seem to affect what your dashboard looks like on a computer? So even though you get a bit more data visible for those two things, they aren't visible in the dashboard on computer?

I was hoping that premium would at least let me get a better comparison of runs, instead of having to click each one open, not really getting a clear view of progress, but not even that...

I kinda feel like fitbit is kinda trying to do everything, but isn't doing anything very well. Should I maybe go with strava if I want to get more running statistics, cause I feel like fitbit is really not worth the money for the (lack of) features you're getting extra in premium?

Hey Silvia,

Thanks for the response. I just kinda feel like none of those things are very personalized? The guided programs are nothing more then basically youtube videos, not really tailored to the data being collected. The wellness report is something that's cool too look at one time, it's not really something that has any value as a daily tool. The premium challenges are again, not tailored, just a challenge set to you. Workouts are again, not tailored based on data, and the mindfulness sessions are also just basically youtube videos.

Don't get me wrong, premium has "stuff", but I just feel like the data being collected isn't really being used.

Also, why doesn't premium carry through to the dashboard on the computer? If I'm going to be look at lots of data, numbers and such it would be nice to not have to view it all on a tiny screen...

@Bartfliet Thank you for getting back.

Fitbit is always trying to implement and release features that are useful to Fitbit users, this is why we have our Feature Suggestion board, where you can post ideas and they are reviewed by our team. Also users have the opportunity to vote and comment on it to show their support, feel free to share your ideas on the board.

If you'd like to have Fitbit Premium available on the computer, vote for this idea, the status will change depending on Fitbit plans.

Have a good weekend.
