Where is the Premium stress score breakdown?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've opted in to try the new Stress Management feature on the app and have been getting scores since Wednesday. But when I go to see my breakdown I see a message that says "Score breakdown included with FitBit Premium". But I DO have FitBit Premium? Every other premium feature is working except the stress breakdown?

Hello @beekeepoi and welcome to the Help forum.  I am also a Premium member.  Here is a screenshot that I believe shows exactly what you wrote:

My score detailsMy score details

I searched Fitbit's Help articles and other internet tech sites looking for the difference between the Premium and the non-Premium views.  I can't find an explanation or examples.  Every image that I see has the score and the bar graphs.  So I am stumped.

I am going to ask a moderator to join this discussion.  Fitbit's Help articles aren't very helpful.

Hi @beekeepoi. Welcome to the Community. @LZeeW Thanks for the heads up and the screenshot provided.

I've moved this thread to the Premium board as there are more chances to get related replies here. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let me explain that the stress management tile will show your stress score, meaning the left circle with the number, and if you have a Premium account, it'll show the score breakdown which is the graph on the right side with the responsiveness, exertion balance and sleep patterns scores.

The message is to let you know that what details you can see with a Premium membership. I'm sorry if this caused any confusion and your feedback will be passed along so we can keep improving our features and their description.

Hope this helps.

The problem is, in my opinion, that does number that represent the "breakdown" give very little understanding on my actual stress. In addition the text "Score breakdown included in Premium" should be removed and eventual displayed only if you are not Premium.

For comparison below a screenshot of the score if you're not premium. As you can see the number is just a number without any explanation at all.

Unfortunately even if you are Premium the understanding is very limited.

@Giampi71   Thank you for posting your screenshot.  My husband, who isn't a Premium member, was at work when I posted my answer.  His screenshot looks like yours.  I agree with your comment about the text.

Is there a reason for Fitbit needing to remove the full access of the Stress Management feature from non-premium members? I truly can’t justify paying $10 a month for a service that when I originally bought my fitbit sense was told this would be included with my purchase. It was an $100 difference between The Sense and a Fitbit Charge 4. If this isn’t changing, who can I talk to about returning the Sense for a fitbit charge 4?

@SunsetRunner   I understand your frustration.  When you look at all the available images of the Stress Management Score, you see the breakdown.  I found one place, and I mean just ONE PLACE, on the Sense page in the Fitbit Store where is says that Premium is required for the score breakdown.  This is seriously walking the line with respect to truth in advertising.  If you return your Sense, you will also lose the EDA scan. I don't wear a Sense, so I don't have experience with it.

I think you need to contact Support to return your Sense, if you bought it from Fitbit.

There is a suggestion posted to make the data free for everybody. I personally believe that Fitbit actually does not care about this suggestion section but really it is the only possibility to have our voices heard (if not listened)

Yeah I’ll see if I can reach out to fitbit tomorrow. I love my fitbit sense and it is quite unfortunate given the fact that they heavily advertised the stress management feature so it is a very shady business practice on Fitbit’s end.
