Will I lose features by getting a new Fitbit?

Hello,

I have a Charge 2 and was looking at getting a luxe. When looking at what premium offers (since it comes with 6mos free) I noticed it mentioned a couple things I already have. E.g. health metrics past 7 days. I don’t have premium and can already see that. Will that change if I get a luxe?

Thanks!

Hello @Steadyboop and welcome to the Community.  No, you won't lose any features if you pass on Premium.  In fact, you will gain a non-premium feature that isn't available on the Charge 2.  You will get app notifications.  So if you have a Ring doorbell, use Uber, use certain airline apps, etc., a notification that goes to your phone also goes to your Fitbit.

Premium gives you more in depth information about the information that Fitbit collects.  And it gives you access to a longer time period for review.  Premium members get 90 days of their Health Metrics data.  Only you can decide if it is right for you.  If you choose the free trial, watch out for the expiration date.  Be sure to cancel it before the trial period ends.  It automatically renews.

Thanks for the reply! Are you able to clarify something for me that I’m still confused about? Currently with my charge 2 I don’t have premium, but I am able to look at more than 7 days worth of health metrics data. If I get a luxe, will I continue to have more than 7 days of data, or will it drop to only 7 days?

@Steadyboop     I'm sorry, but I picked the wrong example for in depth data.  Fitbit recently made the 90 day health metrics free for all users.  It won't change.
