Activity Zones in Data Download

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

When I export my data via the website I get 4 zones for my activity - sedentary, lightly active, fairly active and very active.

I assumed that they would be the same as the heart rate zones (rest, fat burn, cardio and peak) but the amount of minutes in each zone don't ever agree day to day.

Is this an error or could you tell me how the activity zones are worked out?

Thanks

@Swapp3r Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I've moved your post to this board because it's more related to the topic. The 4 zones that you're receiving in your activity are zones based in your active minutes. It doesn't belong to the heart rate zones.

I would like you to try downloading data using the CSV file and check if you get heart rate in the activity information exported. Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I export my Fitbit account data?

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

My issue seems to be closely related to this one. My trainer wants me to report my Zone Minutes each day, as recorded on my Fitbit. I can scroll through each day to record the day's entry, but I'd prefer to gather them from the data export. The problem I don't see a direct representation of Zone Minutes in the export. Am I missing something?

@tgbutz   According to this Help article, the data export only can download active minutes.  Zone Minutes don't seem to be available.  I have no idea why.
