Activity log history display not synched with calendar - need new computer?

I uninstalled and reinstalled app, cleared cache and resynchronized with watch (Charge HR) several times and tried changing time zone and back again but the log history continues showing no activity line items after 5/22, ie showing nothing for 5/23 & 5/24.  When I open the detail for the last 5/22 line item it shows 5/24's steps, however.  I'm running the app on Win 7, that Fitbit no longer supports, so am wondering if that is the problem.  My PC won't support Win 10 and I can't afford to replace my PC so as to use a watch but without an accurate activity log much of the benefit of the watch is lost.  Shouldn't basic database functions work properly regardless of Win operating system?

Hey @shrinkingjudy! Welcome to the Forums @karibuluv.

@shrinkingjudy On the second set of pictures you posted, the third one would only be showing the amount of steps for those specific activities, however this doesn't represent the day total as steps taken outside of any activity are not counted.

@karibuluv Any and all information that is manually entered into your account will not count towards challenges or the friend's leaderboards. This is to avoid cheating on competitions or similar situation.

Let me know if you have nay further questions.

Thanks for stepping into the Forums @shrinkingjudy!

I'd like to take a closer look at what is happening. Could you please take a screen shot showing how the information is not showing up.

Look forward to your reply.

I am having the same problem. It does not sync to the challenges either. All information I enter online will not show up on the daily challenges nor the virtual trails. This is not good.

I'll try a second screen shot that hopefully is more explanatoryfitbit2

So the other 5,642 steps are not displayed because they were not performed at a speed/heart rate sufficient to qualify as Elliptical.  I used to see other types of activity in the activity log but recently changed settings on auto-exercise function and since doing so only see Elliptical.  Going to set them all on ignore to see how activity is recorded without restrictions

Thank you for your help Lanuza, am seriously impressed by Fitbit's customer service.

Dang.  Setting auto-exercise to "Ignore" does just what it says.  For 6/1 it recorded nothing in activity log, not even heart rate info or the calories burned in fat burn zone.  Step & distance info appears in weekly view but heart rate info is forever gone 😞

Hello @shrinkingjudy!

That's pretty much how it works. To be more specific, on the list of activities, you should only see whenever the tracker recognized an activity. That is, a specific type of movement was recorded by the tracker for a determined amount of time, non-stop. Any small 1-minute rests, or loss of rhythm can cause the tracker to no longer recognize an activity. Having said that, your Fitbit will continue to track steps even if they are not a part of a specific 'activity' and they will be counted towards your daily total.

I hope this clarifies the situation a bit further.
