Why doesn’t the Fitbit bar code reader work?

i have joined My Fitness pal and their barcode reader scans 99.9% of the time!

i trided 10 barcodes on Fitbit and it could only read 1

Not impressed 😠

When yo say it doesn't work, is it that it doesn't read the bar code, or it doesn't recognize the product the bar code is on? 

 

Normally when a user links up to MFP it is so that they can use MFP to log food.
