Calculating floors and elevation

Hello, my wife and I did a bush hike and had different results for the same walk.

Me 1,543m elevation with 57 floors

Wife 509m elevation with 129 floors

How can this be?

Really interested.......thank you for any feedback.Me 1Me 1Me 2Me 2Wife 1Wife 1Wife 2Wife 2

One of the watches has recorder a corrupted elevation profile. The first activity, its second half, shows more jagged elevation, those rises and falls will add significantly more elevation gain.

@NeilHayes unfortunately, you can't fix it on Fitbit. Some platforms offer elevation correction (Garmin and Strava do it on demand, Suunto does it automatically) but Fitbit doesn't. If you sync your activities to Strava you can correct it there but it won't change anything in the Fitbit activity.
