Can't find relax icon on fit bit charge 2

Just bought fit bit charge 2 can't find relax icon anywhere when I press button I get notifications on off not going to lie this is way more complicated than I thought it would be

If you press and hold the button when on the clock screen then you go to the notifications on / off option as you describe.

 

However, if you just do a short press on the button then you step through the menu options. When you get to the relax option you can press and hold to start the session.

 

There is a lot to get used to when you start with a fitbit but give it a little time. Have you had a chance to look through the manual yet at https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_charge_2_en_US.pdf ?
