Charge 2 can't export sleep stages data

Bought a charge 2 and have nothing but problems syncing to win8.1 laptop. It syncs one day and doesn't even find the device the next. No problems with iphone though. My goal is to download the time series of sleep stages, and I've seen some say it doesn't give that level of detail. Every time I try to download sleep data, a pink wheel just spins forever. Anyone get it to work or have suggestions?

btw, I can see sleep stages on the iphone, but when I sync to the win8.1 laptop, it only shows older data without any sleep stages at all.

Also, as soon as I reinstall on win8.1 laptop, my iphone loses sync and I have to reinstall/sync there. It's like they can't work together or something.

I also cannot get access to my sleep data from my charge 2 device. I am posting to add mass to this issue.

What is going go?  It used to be working without any issue over one year!
