We wiuld like tk set up my husband’s old alta for my son. I created a child account but when I try to pair the device the only option I have available is the Alta Ace. Can I only pair a child’s account with the Ace?

Yes, I'm afraid the only fitbit model that can be used with a child account is the Ace.
