Export/Log of daily resting heart rate?

Can anyone please tell me if there's a way to export or print a long-term record of the daily resting heart rate for Charge_2?

The tile on a Win7 display shows the day's resting rate over the last month, but I can't see a way to:

a) see values prior to the last month

b) print or export it, other than a screen shot.

My Kindle Fire displays the same month's daily results but nothing prior to the last month. But it can also show a graph of the weekly average value of the resting heart rate, going back to before my purchase - again no way to print or export it AFAICanSee.

Advice appreciated.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to export resting hr. If there is, it's not in with all the other things you can export or I'm just not seeing it. SorrySmiley Sad

Maybe you could post about that in feature suggestions.

Dear Olivia010,

While it's obviously not a solution to the problem itself (there probably isn't one, as yet), I appreciate the recommendation, which might lead to a fuller solution.

Hence I'm content to mark your answer as Accepted

I've just followed Olivia010's own suggestion, and was surprised by how off-putting were the FitBit Terms & Conditions for making a suggestion (they try actively to argue against users making any suggestions). I don't seek to profit from the suggestion, but as I wrote under the suggestion just posted:

"Incidentally, your lawyerly intro to this section is quite off-putting and feels strongly contrary to any sense of community. I realise you need to protect yourself from claims as outlined, but it comes across as rather insulting, and suggests a mindset reminiscent of arrogant internet billionaire types..."

Totally agree. Obviously the data is there on dashboard, and they say that we can export the data, but guess their wrong, either you can or you can’t. In this case you can’t. Being able to export the Resting Heart Rate, is valuable information for doctors.

If you don't want to work through the Fitbit complex export this 3rd party URL does it all for you..

I'm no way associated with the developer but it was developed for those who are interested in this type of data and ease of access... My doctor has found it excellent.. 😋 even though he doesn't like us using these products.. he says it makes some of his clients uneasy and pushes their HR up....

This URL and my Ionic has supported my health concerns when needed so the examples below are typical of what can be achieved..

I'm would like to feel I'm helping others get the most from their Fitbit's in the simplest ways even though we accept they are not medical devices...

You can view and export your RHR - 2 months at a time and export to a .CSV file for your spreadsheet..

You need to login using your Fitbit credentials and some don't want to do that, entirely up to you..

For the RHR you select Heart Rate data and then Interday, if you want a daily HR graph you select the Intraday option

Here is an example for the last 2 months before the export, including an odd never before heart scare for me.... because I have a low HR to feeling of 80 beats a minute during the day was odd.. The second one shows the effect of an operation on the RHR nearly 4 years ago..  The variation in view is because the operation had my RHR go up.

So the data is there and once you do the initial downloads and merging into Excel or similar it's only a simple maintenance from then on.

My Fitbit is accurate and the earlier results were the Surge, and when I was having this "sort of low rate Tachycardia" on April 7th, my doctor wants me back for testing if it happens again. The average HR for that 24 hours was 77bpm and and it started at 10pm the previous night and went through for most of the 7th... Yesterdays average HR was 58 bpm for the 24 hours and my sleeping HR last night was 53 bpm getting down to 45 bpm in the last 3 hours of sleep

My Omron HR machine recorded the odd HR  as well, and had my BP down to 92/63 and no giddy feeling, bordering on low blood pressure where I'm normally 125/75 which is OK for my age.. An odd happening but more importantly the Fitbit detected it and the link from Pulsewatch gave me the documentation for my doctor..

In this graph the 900+ minutes in Fat burn is correct because my Fat Burn zone starts at 71 bpm...

An over sight..and you will glean I enjoy testing the Fitbit for accuracy..

I now have nearly 4 years of RHR data in Excel and examined seasonal changes which shows little affect.

I haven't detected any measurable fluctuations between the Surge, Blaze and the Ionic.. and I have always worn the trackers 24/7..

Ironically when I started keeping the RHR data was in July 2015 just before the operation.. While I was in hospital, the specialist hadn't passed onto the staff that I have a low HR.. That threw a scare into the post Op recovery area because the bells went off.... Panic Panic.. and amusing afterwards.

At one stage I plotted RHR against Max and Min temperatures for the day and couldn't see any change. In Melbourne we get down to 2oC (36oF) and this Summer it went to 44oC (111oF)... No snow.. and the high temperature only increased my RHR 1 point.

My flu shot 2 weeks ago made my RHR jump 3 points for 3 days then gradually back again.. to 50 in a week....

I have found the RHR is a definite precursor to health issues, like throat, colds etc.. and supported by the link makes me comfortable.

Another reason for having these tools, in later years I found I was born with the odd random missing heart beat.. Quite common I found and my GP and cardiologists aren't worried because everything in the heart area is normal.. Just the specialist doing the tests asked me last time, "do you notice your heart does a couple of catch ups when it misses a beat ?"..😀

I can pick that up with this technology if I run a Workout while asleep, and that Excel plot gives you on average a HR point every 1.65 seconds.. A Smart Track gives me a HR point every 1.95 seconds.  Because it's averages you can get one second plot points as well..

My normal tracking during the day without any exercise options I get a HR point every 9.5 seconds on average.

Go for it..  Those that are interested..

The data and graphs you show are great. I’m new at this, please forgive ignorance.

im using INSPIRE HR, on Samsung Galaxy 9, and iPad Pro.

I log into Fitbit.com cannot find “Heart Rate data and then Interday”

What I see when I go into settings, data export is

include data

Body

Foods

Activities

sleep

The Heart Rate dat is no included in any of them. Do I have an older version of is the platform different.

@DcnMike You have to download Fitbit's other export data file which is your lifetime data which I find too complex to unravel.  Hopefully in the future they make it easier..

So I use the free 3rd party url link in my earlier post   but you have to be happy to login as a Fitbit user...

You can get daily HR data or 2  months of RHR data downloadable into Excel.

@DcnMike Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the late reply.

Happy to see that the suggestions @Colinm39 shared with you helped you. How was your experience the tool mentioned? Have you been able to properly view your data. Also if you have any suggestions to improve Fitbit's tools please share them in our Feature suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Let me know how it goes.
