hello,
When I first got my fitbit I entered by weight as 216 pounds and have been logging my weight through the goal on my dashboard for the past 3 months and am currently at 193 pounds. My question is, does the Fitbit automatically adjust my BMR or calories burned estimate with my new weight figure as I update it or is it still going off of my original 216 lb?
I have followed some of the guides on adjusting your current weight but when I follow those instructions, it only shows me my starting weight and goal weight three is no option to change current weight unless I log a new weight through the goal button in the dashboard.
Thanks

The algorithms use your current weight to estimate the calories expended. When you log your current weight (either manually or through using the Aria or something similar) the new weight should show up in your profile page: https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile

I'm not sure that we can all know exactly what our real weight is. My scales on different surfaces show a different figure with a certain error of tens of pounds! I wouldn't say I liked it. I stopped moving the scales and stand in them, always in one place. I advise everyone to do the same without moving an inch! In addition, it isn't easy to calculate the calorie content of a serving without a table scale for the kitchen. I recently bought a good scale from Amazon. I like to use them. In addition, I use them to calculate even the right amount of hair dye - who would have thought that I use them like this! If you're interested, I took these https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Beautiful-Measurement-Stainless-Batteries/dp/B08SW6F5SZ. I found them to be of high quality.
