Fitbit app doesn't show the daily total steps

I use to be able to see my total step count for the day on my Fitbit app.  With my new Fitbit I can’t seem to see that anymore. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the details shared on your post. To better assist you with this, please let me know which mobile device are you using to sync? Is your Fitbit device syncing properly the other data (floors, calories, etc)? Does the app show a "0" on today's steps or the steps tile doesn't appear on the app?
