Fitbit did not record steps can I add the steps myself? I did 10,00+ steps and it only recorded 990.

@DrKimberlyHandy  Could you please clarify something?  Your comma is in an odd place.  Did you do 1,000 steps or did you do 10,000 steps and get credited for 990?  If you did 1000 steps, there really isn't a good reason to add them -- missing 10 steps is well within the error of your tracker.  There are enough other reasons for trackers to over count steps, so it all pretty much balances out.

 

If you did 10,000 steps, then there is a much bigger issue.  What kind of tracker are you using? 

 

But getting back to your original question -- you can add steps.  For example, if you forget to wear your tracker, you can add an estimate.  But remember, if you manually add steps, they do not count towards distance badges or challenges.
