Fitbit wants me to change starting weight after reaching goal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I reached my goal weight a week ago. I set Fitbit to maintain and now it tells me "Your weight goal is out of date. Update your starting weight." Why do I need to change the weight I was 4 years ago? I've been ignoring the notification, but I'd like to know why it's there.

Hello @zyxst, I'm glad to see you around in our community. As you know your trackers and some of your stats worked based on your demographic information, like: gender, age weight and height. So this is the reason is asking you to update your starting weight since you achieve your weight goal. My recommendation is to update your current weight this doesn't mean you need to keep loosing weight.

Congratulations in reaching your weight goal BTW. I feel jealous since I can't reach my goal but users like you encourage me to keep trying.Robot Very Happy

Hope this answer your questions and let me know how it goes.
