Hey you @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you around the forums! 
To adjust the type of units used for your height, weight, water consumption, and swims:
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
- Tap or click Advanced Settings.
- Tap or click Units.
- Choose the type of units you want to use for your height, weight, water consumption, and swims.
Fitbit.com Dashboard:
- Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon.
- Choose Settings > Personal Info.
- Under Advanced Settings, find Units and choose the type of units you want to use for your height, weight, water consumption, and swims.
- Click Submit.
I'd like to clarify that there's no place to put waistline measurements. The only information you can put is your weight, height, and adjust your water consumption, and swims.

Thanks for sharing the "Waist Measurement" feature suggestion, I'm sure whoever jumps here will vote for this great idea.
