I can't find anywhere on the current dashboard to add a new device.

How do I go about switching from the older device to the newer device?

Assistance would be appreciated.

You talk about 2 different things.  Please clarify which it is you want:

1) Add Charge 3 to same account as Charge 2.

or

2) Switch from Charge 2 to Charge 3.

 

Also which dashboard - phone app?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
