Mobile Dashboard Randomly Pops Up

Every time I go into my phone the dashboard pops up  if im emailing or texting the dashboard pops up  how can I stop this?

Android, iOS or Windows phone?

With my Android, I make sure to be on the home page and not leave my Fitbit app where it's the first thing I see. Have you tried that?

I found out it was the fit bit launcher that was set for hourly. I'm so
embarrassed. ... once I set it to weekly the issue went away. So now it
opens and syncs at midnight once a week unless I choose to manually sync it
