My activity is not registering properly

For example, I walked 11,031 steps, 11 floors,4.76 miles, and I only have 11 minutes of activity.  I have exceeded 15,000 steps and over 5 miles and at the end of the day, I will barely have 10 active minutes.  How are my active minutes computed?  I am using a Fitbit Blaze (3rd one to be exact).

There are several reasons why the active minutes are low. You can read more about what they are and how they are tracked in here

What could be happening is that while you walk or do activities, the intensity is not very high, you take short breaks, or the intensity is not constant. This would cause the Fitbit to not log active minutes, even if a lot of steps are being counted.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
