Removing a person on my step goals

I have a person who shows up on my dashboard as my step competition. I don't know where this came from and I can't remove it. I wish I had more control over what is on my page. How can I change it.

@juliean60   Can you please give more details?  You posted your issue on the web dashboard forum, but we can't even see our Friends on the web dashboard anymore.  Fitbit also removed all it challenges from the app some time ago.  Are you writing about someone who is in a closed group?  Is there a person on your mobile app Friends list that you don't recognize?  We need more specifics about this step competition.  What type of phone do you use?

I will explain in more detail. I left fit it for awhile. When I returned all my old information was still there. I suppose this is a service from the past. I guess I cannot remove it because it is not supposed to exist anymore. I will leave it alone. It really doesn't matter that much. Thanks your question answered my query.
