@VikiS pretty sure a moderator will see this and take the appropriate action.
I've not had a friend request like that, but I have gotten some strange private messages.
Thanks for reporting it.
Keep on stepping!

I got a request from a Debra B. with website www dot sexy dot rnnijnla dot ru .
Why isn't there a way to report this other than block? Why does Fitbit not followup? Why do they kick the can down the road and let the users re-register with other names? Sounds like irresponsible policy guys. Sloppy policing. Shoddy work.

Might go a long way to have filters in place to block certain words and URLs from being put on profiles in the first place. Fitbit has no reason to allow anything inappropriate on profiles whatsoever. If that is too much to ask, have all profiles be private until they are reviewed by a moderator. Many sites have had success with that approach. Instagram has the same issue, with probably 50%+ of all profiles being SPAM accounts linking to dangerous websites. They only shut profiles down when people report them. Don't let it get to the point they need to be reported, and you'll have happier users.

Hey Kate,
I'm not one to get involved with trolls much, but this one is different. Please, PLEASE do something about "Gabriel R"s account. He is constantly going on the vegetarian/vegan feed posting extremely immature pictures with bacon burgers and posts about him saying that he wants to be vegan, but proceeds to say "nevermind, I'm still going to eat meat. Thanks for wasting you time." It's sad someone has this kind of life to be a whore for attention.
Thanks!

Welcome to the Forums @SunsetRunner.
At this moment we do not have a dedicated reporting system but you can let our customer support team about what is going on, they will be more than happy to take the information.
In the meantime I recommend that you block that person and avoiding any groups where that person is included.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

How are things going setting up a way for users to report inappropriate contacts? In the last several months I have been getting friend requests from males that seem to be trolling for women. I made the mistake of accepting a couple and immediately one of them started sending very personal messages - like we were on a dating app! Very creepy! I suppose I should have known better when their step totals were ZERO!! So they were obviously not using their Fitbits!! Can't you find some way to weed out these creeps? Or is there a way for me to shut down friend requests at least?
