Restore Charge HR

I've bought a second hand Charge HR and trying to do a factory reset.

Have followed all the step by step guide and it's showing me data from the last few days including today when it was actually delivered to me.

It tells me that it's erased but on logging it as a new device when it's all set up it's still showing the data.

Any ideas, as this is not good for my OCD!

What kind of data? Is it calories burned?

If so

The calories burned are BMR calories. Your fitbit also calculates calories burned for your BMR. You burn calories just by being alive! Even Sleeping. Fitbit includes these burned calories in it's calorie calculations, so even if you did not wear the fitbit, you'll still burn these calories.
