Is there a way to view distance traveled on a monthly/annual basis?

You can do this via the web interface at https://www.fitbit.com/activities

Click where it says "today" at the top right of the screen and you will be able to specify a start and end date. It will then show you your total steps, distance and calories for that time period.

@Liteworker Hi and Welcome - in addition to @SteveH here is a picture to explain his words, from main dashboard click log you should see the food page as indicated on the left of the picture

Also on the mobile app you can click on the distance tile and you will get a weeks worth with a listed history under it, if you tap the graph again (or broken square top right) this will change to the historic graph with week, 1 month, 3 month, year options but unlike the PC Dashboard version you will not be able to chose your dates like @SteveH indicated it will just scroll back on a weekly basis per year ( ie 27 may 2018 - today, )

And finally as a point of interest if you click on your picture/profile form the main dashboard you can view both lifetime and best totals for steps, floors and distance (.com version only not via the app)

Kind Regards
