Still have calories to eat but am over

I'm confused about my stats. I burned 2200 calories and ate 1958 calories today. I still have 164 calories left to eat but the stat says I am over. How could I have burned more calories than I ate and still be over?

Thank you.

Just a guess here.  I haven't used counting calories eaten so not sure how this works, but could it be you have set a weight goal, and you are over what eating would keep you on track to lose weight at that pace?  For instance if you were aiming for a 500 calorie daily deficit and your deficit today is 262 calories.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
