Weight goal date changes for no apparent reason

When I originally put in my goal weight (a week and half ago) and choose "moderate," I was given a date of June 5th as the date I'd reach that goal.  Even though I have the appropriate number of negative calories at the end of every day (often even less), my date changed to 6/8, then today it is 6/9.  I don't understand why it keeps creeping?

Hi @emergencyfan

Moved this thread from the One to the Fitbit.com Dashboard section since being more relevant to the topic and increases the chance of getting a solution.

Do you frequently weigh yourself while keeping track of calorie intake? The goal date is determined by the current known weight, and depends on the calorie deficit / goal weight.

When weighing, it's also possible to weigh a bit more than previously (possible water upkeep, few pounds of food remnants still inside the body,..).. the goal date can change that way until a later date, or drop again due natural fluctuations..
