What cals unit is Fitbit using?

Hello,

I decided to track my food in Fitbit app, but I'm confused by fitbit's calories. I'm from Czech republic and we have kcal and kJ on food. Fitbit wants "cals". But that would mean that 1 kcal is 1000 cals, which is impossible. If the food has 46 kcal/100g, it would have 46000 fitbit's cals. I'm not sure, how to convert kcal to fitbit's cals? Does anyone know? Thanks. 🙂

Wherever fitbit refers to a calorie or cals it means kcal.

@MekliCZ  Fitbit's "cals" are, in fact kcals or "C" calories.  That 46 cal/100 g on the food log or list in the US is 46 kcal/100 g in the rest of the real world.
