@DebP11Welcome... 27'39" means you were moving at 27 minutes 39seconds/mile or Km

If you divide that into 60 minutes/hr you will get your speed..

so convert the seconds to decimal minutes 39/60 = 0.65 minutes  therefore

60/27.65 = 2.16 miles or Km's per hour..

Enjoy your statistics......

Correction - You divide 60 minutes by 27.65 minutes/miles(km) to arrive at 2.16 miles(km)/hour, not "divide that (i.e., 27.65 minutes) into 60 minutes"

Still don't understand...so before dividing..that shows how many minutes it took you to walk a mile..when divided..thatmph?..but..how do you even measure your pace..step..etc

Yes, when you measure in miles, it converts minutes per mile to miles per hour.  Here are two easy conversions:

  • If you see 15’ 00”, that is 15 minutes per mile or 4 mph
  • If you see 20’ 00”, that is 20 minutes per mile or 3 mph
