Why so much variance in resting heart rate?

I am of course referring to the tile (on the dashboard). Sometimes it is as high as 68, often it s below 60, the rest of the time somewhere in between.

I'm till in my first month of ChargeHR ownership, so I'm still getting to know my HR features.

Thanks, Eric

--- Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
Flex (Christmas 2014), ChargeHR (Christmas 2015). Wife is using the Flex now! Nope, that Flex has died. Alta ordered 12/15/16 as Flex replacement. So far, she likes it. Nope, alta battery only lasts 2 days, started at 7. Support contacted 12/7/17. Hope warranty covers it.

it's depending on your activity, your food, your health, your sleep

food, alcohol, low activity, bad sleep, illness, drugs.

all will increase your heart rate during the day and night, and your average resting heart rate.

less food, no alcohol, more activity, better sleep, good shape.

in some days, your average resting heart rate will decrease.

compare your resting heart rate and your daily heart rate, you will see.
