Calories Burned Doesn't make sense

Today I had 11,684 steps  4.72 miles  68 active minutes and burned 1696 calories

Yesterday 9,191 steps 3.71 miles 17 active minutes and burned 1729 calories

Day before yesterday 6,499 steps 2.62 miles  6 active minutes and burned 1585 calories.

This doesn't make sense and doesn't give me much incentive to walk more if I'm burning more calories walking less.    This is a consistent pattern I'm seeing on my fitbit flex.

@Aydensgma Welcome to the Fitbit family! That is strange! Check if your personal settings are correct.

Also, perform a restart on your Flex. Do this a couple of times ina row. That should certainly help you out!

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I don’t understand the algorithm used to calculate calories burned per minute. In round terms I can go for a 30 minute walk, my Charge 2 shows 300 calories expended - at an average of 3 calories per minute!!?
