Can't use my Galaxy S21 Edge with the Fitbit app

I have a Samsung S21 with the edge app and when I go to select apps to install Fitbit doesn't show up to allow it to be used with the edge app. My old Samsung S7 allowed it. I can use the Fitbit app normally just not on the edge. Anybody else have this issue and/or a fix?

Hi @miatch,

 

What's the OS of the Galaxy phone?  If it's on 8.0 or above, the app should be able to run fine.  I have a Galaxy A12 running on Android 11 and I have no issues with my app.

All Samsung smartphones and tablets use the Android operating system, a mobile operating system designed by Google. And follow this steps :

See which Android version you have
  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Near the bottom, tap System. System update.
  3. See your "Android version" and "Android security update
