Can you track carbohydrates instead of calories on the food log page

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if you could change the food log page on your dashboard to track carbohydrates instead of calories per day. If so, how do you change it to carbohydrates? I'm on a carbohydrate diet and it would be nice to log my daily food intake. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@Dorre I hope you're doing well! It is not possible to change that. However, you can track the amount of carbs you eat a day using the food log option on the online dashboard. You will see this data under the "Daily Totals". All you need to do is to log your food there and all the carbs will show!

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I would like this, too! I saw that I can now SEE carbs, which is great, but I want carbs to be my goal - I don't care at all about calories, and none of my recipes even have those calculated, since I've calculated macros only for 7 years now. I just want to log my food and to see, in the dashboard, where I am in my 40 carb/day goal. Calories don't give me any idea of where I am with my diet.

Can this be done on the smartphone app as well?  Can I see the daily carb totals?  Low carb diets are really the way of the world right now and it's sad that Fitbit is not accommodating that.  😞

I would like the net carbs to show after sugar alcohol and fiber are subtracted.

I also notice that the carb count seems to be way off when I log foods, definitely don't match the nutrition info I used when I selected my food!

I had a 2 egg omelette with 1/4 cup ground turkey, tiny amount of cheese, wild garlic mustard greens, tiny amount of tomatillo, about a tbsp of onions, somehow that adds up to 35 grams of carbs!?

I would really like to see my net carbs too, not just gross carbs.  Bc fiber isn't making me build fat like sugar does!

I'm having the same problem too! The carb count is completely off. Salmon, 1/2 cup of cauliflower rice, and 4 cherry tomatoes adds up to 16 carbs? When you at look at them individually cauliflower is 5g and the cherry tomatoes are 3g. So 8g total, not 16! That's not even including subtracting the fiber which would make it even less. This is very frustrating indeed.
