Up until this morning my flex was displaying my steps as my main goal. However it has changed itself to show Calories as the main goal.

i have looked at my main goal and it is set to steps. Whatever I change this menu too the display remains as calories.

can someone please advise?

tks

I figured out how to fix it - your Fitbit isn’t connected to your phone
yet. You need to make sure the blue tooth is on and everything is synced
and working.

As if two days ago my Fitbit stopped counting my steps or distance. Only counts calories. My main goal is steps with the others being sub goals. Help!

Mine was doing the exact same thing. I fixed this by reinstalling the newest version of the Fitbit app. Then directly above and to the right of the calories on your dashboard you should see an edit button. Hit that and then make sure the checkmark is next to steps instead of calories. If you want everything, checkmark show all and then push on the equal sign beside steps and drag it to the top so that it will be the main display. Then hit save. This should fix the issue.

I've got the opposite problem. My main goal is calories, but its always shooting steps on my clock face. Arghhhh anyone know how to get the main goal to show on the clock face?

My Fitbit app is only showing calories in the main screen. The Charge HR is paired and showing the correct amount of calories but I want to see steps. What is going on?

There is no step tile on my home screen of the app.

I have had SERIOUS issues trying to get the step counter back. I even stopped using my fitbit for a while because of it. Even after following all of the steps listed by the community member it did not work. However, today I finally figured it out. On my iPhone app:

  1. I had to click the "edit" button that is next to the "Today" heading.
  2. Under the "Manage Activity Items," I checked all of the circles. But you can simply check the "Steps" circle to only display it.
  3. Click the "Save" button in the top right corner.
  4. Then it showed steps again!!!

I have the same issue as Elanez.  This started this afternoon.  All I see on my dashboard is calories.  There are no other tiles for Steps/Distance/Active minutes

I cannot select steps for the main tile as it no longer shows under Managed activity items.  It only shows "Calories".

I know the steps are being counted as I see the number going up when I look at the "Community" button on the bottom and view friends.  It is showing the weekly total and the number keeps going up.

My Bluetooth is on and synced with the Fitbit and Fitbit is syncing with my phone.  I have an iPhone SE.

Please help as I am part of a challenge counting steps and I cannot see the challenge either so I don't know where I am at.

Thanks

I turned my phone off about 20 minutes ago and now just turned it back on.  Now I am back to normal, showing my steps as main tile and showing Miles/Cals/Minutes as the sub tiles.  I also see my challenge.

There has been no software update so I am not sure what happened.  Not sure what broke it or what fixed it.

I turned my phone off when this problem started a few hours ago, but I turned it back on right away, this time I let is sit for about 20 minutes.

Not sure if that had any impact or not, but now it is working.  Hope this helps.

If you click the three bars next to calories all the categories will appear and that’s where you can select them and they’ll show!

So I tried this fix but my other widgets don’t even show up as options...like the steps just disappeared??? This was fine earlier and now my dashboard only shows calories. None of the listed fixes work. When I click “edit” there are no other options to add.
