@Alaa1977 Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Flex 2's battery not charging. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help your tracker charge.

Let me know how it goes.

Cleaned the charger and the battery. Still not charging. It is syncing but not charging. I guess it’s done.

The same thing is happening for me. Any other options?

Dump it? I’ve seen
nothing that will fix it.
I’m sad because it’s the only one I find comfortable.

Hi, I was able to figure out the problem for my Flex 2 not charging when it is at 0% and I hope it works for Flex 2 users who are having the same problem.

The way I fixed it was by simply spamming the reset button. When you feel a buzz, that's when you know it's charging. It can take at least 10 minutes of pressing the button, but this was the solution I was able to get my pebble working again.

After you get it to jumpstart, leave it! Or you might end up repeating the dreadful process again. And remember to monitor your battery percentages and not have it completely drained in the future.

I’ve no idea where the reset. button is. Also I charge it every other day. I never let it go below 25-30%.
So I have no idea what else to do.
Thanks

The reset button is located on the back of the charging port. Place the Flex 2 in the port and press the button three times in a row to reset it. If the device vibrates, this should indicate a reset and should start charging. If it only flashes (may not flash periodically) without vibrating, you may have to keep pressing the reset button until you feel it vibrate, indicating a charge.

Edit: Just discovered that even the Flex 2 may be at any percentage and still "shut off". My device was not responding, tracking, or syncing this morning. Spammed the charging port while the device was in for 5 minutes until it buzzed, and showed 75%. Wanted to point that out since you did note your device was not below 25-30% battery level.

Awesome! Very glad that this solution worked for you as well!

Make sure to now have your device charged more often. For every solution that I find, there seems to be unique problems arising one after the other. Let me know if you bump into another issue. Thanks!

Did did you continually push the reset button or did you hold it until it buzzed?  Currently,  I get a quick flash of 1 purple light and 4 white lights.   No buzz at all and shows 2% charge .

I repeatedly pushed the reset button. Keep doing this until you feel a buzz. The quick flash of purple and 4 light lights is what I had the first time I had this battery problem without the buzz. It's a bit tedious to do and can take up to 5 minutes of doing, but it'll be worth it to bring your Flex 2 back to life. Good luck 🤞

Once I pushed the reset
button and it lit up, I charged it. It works now.

i followed your instruction. yes, it gave me the buzz... however still nothing. Only a single LED pulsing. does this issue covered under warranty?

That wasn't my advice. That advice was given to me. However, when I did it, as soon as it buzzed, I then put it back in the charger and it started charging. You'd have to ask Fitbit if it's under warranty. I believe it is for a year but not sure.
Good luck.

@Krizbix If a single LED is pulsing, this indicates a charge with a depleted battery. You should leave it in the charging port until all lights are pulsing. When it is fully charged, the lights will then shut off. See how the pebble and the app functions after it is fully charged.

It is covered under one year warranty, but the Flex 2 has been discontinued. There were reports that Flex 2 users were given a 25% discount instead. It is best to contact support if all else fails.

I ama new user so please confirm just so I understand:

  1. Plug device into computer or power source
  2. Press and hold down reset button at the back of the charging device. Hold until it buzzes then release. Might take up to 5-10mins of holding down the reset button until it buzzes

Best Answer

Either A. Hold it down until it buzzes or B.press the reset 3x in fast succession or C. Push the button repeatedly in quick succession until you feel it vibrate. D. (WHICH YOU SHOULD TRY FIRST) Clean off the connecter with alcohol.

I have tried A and B. A. buzzed after 30 seconds(ish) and B. Buzzed after 3 pushes.

I'm not sure if it's working yet but the device has 1 light slowly flashing so I'm hopeful.

Thank you for your email responding to this. The Flex 2 was bought two
years back or so but only just unboxed. Here is what I did before taking
the steps you advised:
1) I charged it until it winked a green light (three white) then went blank
2) I unplugged it from the power source and one blue light winked
3) I took it out and it winked a green light (three white) then went to a
single winking blue light
4) I put it into the wristband and tried tapping 3x, but no change in blue
light
5) I tried synching to the Android app and it would not connect to device.
Went back to your steps and implemented then cycled through 1-5 again. Have
attached a picture of the current state of the device. Thank you so much.

Regards
Chinenye
