Flex 2 won't pair with my iPhone XS Max

My flex2 will not pair with my iPhone XS Max. I have rebooted my phone. I have turned off Bluetooth and turned it back on. I have charged my Fitbit flex 2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the updated Fitbit app. Nothing works. I have followed all the troubleshooting suggestions. My Fitbit flex 2 will  pair with my iPad Pro and my Windows laptop, but not my iPhone XS Max.

Hi, I have not been able to get my Flex 2 to pair with my iPhone either, it was fine before this past week and I did not have any issues. I can't pair it with my iPad mini or my computer as well. Currently my Flex 2 is not charging regardless of how long it's on the charger.

Hi @jeniBee we do but pair a Fitbit tracker to the phone. We add the tracker, only once, to our Fitbit account.

  • Let's do a setup through your iPad Pro.
  • No turn the Bluetooth off on the iPad Pro.
  • Install the Fitbit app on the iPhone.
  • Log into your Fitbit account.
  • The app will ask to approve a few permissions.
  • The Fitbit app will try and sync.
  • If it fails, we have a sync issue and you should look here.

@paismc is your Flex still connected to your Fitbit account?

If so then turn Bluetooth off on all but one device and use this device to sync through. For help see this doc.

I am also having trouble trying to re-pair my flex 2 to my phone (LG Pro). Despite not being linked they are still syncing, not a clue how that happens!

Try these steps @SkipperKaren

There is nothing to re-pair with the phones Bluetooth. Everything needs to be done through the Fitbit app

The tracker does not need to be paired for a sync.

It needs to be paired to receive notifications.
