Friends show on my account but not in challenges

I have 13 friends on my account, however, none of them show up when I try to do challenges. They also show when logged in via the website. The friends are only visible when I'm in my personal settings via the app. But when I try to invite friends for a challenge, the app tells me I have no contacts/friends.

Nevermind - figured it out - had to uninstall the app, restart my phone, then download the app again.
