I have an old Flex fitbit that I no longer use since I have a newer model. I have charged the Flex, but don't remember how to use it. I want to make sure there isn't any data attached to it so that I can give it away. How do I make sure all is erased (without effecting my Charge 3)?

Hi @SunsetRunner there is no data on the device, as it's stored on the Fitbit servers secured by your log in. The new owner of the Flex would simply set it up with their own email address and it should start from scratch. The most they would see is burned calories, which is perfectly normal. Nice of you to gift the Flex to another person.

@SunsetRunner Fitbit put the Flex on its Legacy Device list in 2020. The policy says that devices on the list might not pair with the app. A few months ago, I tried to put my One on my account, just for grins. The four digit code appeared, but never paired.
