How do I log an aqua fit class when wearing my flex2? It does not show any active minutes after doing a 45 minute class?

Go to your app and tap the exercise tile (running man), then tap the stopwatch icon in the top right corner. In the form that comes up start typing in water aerobics and when a drop down list comes up select water aerobics. Fill in the form details and then tap log it and you are done. Same here. I have to manually enter exercise when I do water aerobics.

Yes; I choose "water aerobics " and enter my time. It logs as exercise minutes but not steps.

I use mine for Aquafit and manually enter it BUT last week when we did a lot of "punching" exercises with the rubber weights, it automatically logged it as Elliptical AND it registers the steps every time for Aquafit (about 3000) but not the TABAQUA which I also do, as I am in deep water then so my feet obviously aren't touching the ground x

Thank you. I've done aquafit twice now, and the first one registered as swimming 93 lengths, and the next time it did not register at all. I'll use the dropbox to register water aerobics and see what happens.

The drop down menu only offers walk, hike or run …… I can't type anything else in …...

If you are doing Traditional Aquafit or Aqua Zumba where your feet are touching the floor the whole time, the Flex2 will register the steps as per normal. if you are doing one of the other Aqua exercises where you aren't , then you need to go to where you key in exercises manually and there will be a suitable alternative. IF, like you say there is no option, I cant help further as, if you look at the date on my post, it is a long time since I used my Flex2 for aquavit and it certainly did have a suitable option back then. I now use an Inspire HR

We do some exercises on the floor, some in deep water where we don’t touch, some standing yoga type stretches where we aren’t moving ..... how can I log an hour of that type of activity?

Hi @LadyDriver2019  It sound like you are in the wrong place for manually adding an activity. I think you have the wrong tab up. When you click on the stopwatch icon a page comes up where there are 2 tabs at the top. The left hand tab is track exercise (that sounds like where you are). Select the right one which is Log Previous. Let me know if that helps.

OK well I dont think I can be of any further help as. like I said I no longer use the Flex2 but when I looked at my Inspire HR dashboard just a minute ago, I can see where I was keying in previously under AquaFit and TabAqua.
I seem to remember I monitored the number of steps I did at an AquaZumba class, calculated the calories etc and used that as a baseline. I then manually keyed in the information, saved it and then used that to add my minutes to each session, thus it calculated it for me.
I cannot tell you EXACTLY as it was 2017
Under Exercises there are several options to add and amend things

Thanks for the advice ..... I will have to explore & invent ..... I bought the Flex2 specifically because it was waterproof ..... ironic that I can’t log aquacise on it LOL ...... but will figure out a way ...... still think it’s a great unit, have especially found it interesting to see sleep patterns ....... I’m 69 years old, definitely not in training for a marathon or anything, so I’m pretty happy with the basic concept anyway ..... thanks again for your help ..... Lee

When I click the stopwatch all I get is “New Exercise” ..... no other options ..... perhaps because I’m doing this on a laptop & not a phone (hate cell phones, hardly use mine) ..... Lee

Yes that is exactly why I bought Flex2 and whilst I was able to do aqua fit etc it was fab but then I was very poorly n can’t manage it at the moment. I now have invested in an Inspire HR it gives me more information esp about heart rate and has spurred me on. I was wheelchair bound, progressed to a scooter, walking frame and am now aid free! All because I needed to increase my steps !
Good luck with your FitBit they really are fab little gadgets.
