I have read and tried all the help in the IOS 13 article. Basically since I got an iPhone 11 on Friday, sleep and steps are registering but no walks or cycling since then. I’ve reset flex pebble, checked the notifications stuff and restarted my phone. Any ideas?

@Newbielump A warm welcome to our Community!
Let me help you with your sleep and activity detection and thank you for troubleshooting this issue.
Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.
Regarding the activity detection, Your device detects activities based on the motion on your arm. The automatic detection is a feature called SmartTrack. For example when using the elliptical machine make sure you have the moving bars so your device detects the motion and record the activity itself. Still you can manually log your activity so you have a record on your account.
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you very much, and for the welcome. However I have had a flex 2 for at least two years and this problem occurred only for walks and bike rides not sleep or step counts just after I changed to my new phone. I don’t do gym I’m a 65 year old dog walker who just wants to keep tabs on my daily activity. I’ve restarted twice both pebble and phone and checked the long article on IoS13. I always keep it on my non dominant wrist. Cheers
