Silent alarms not working on my Flex 2

My silent alarm was working then just stopped. At first I thought it was because I wasn’t close enough to my phone but today again it’s failed. I only have one alarm set. Not being able to rely on it is very frustrating

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps to restart your device and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. For Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Thanks for the response. I have a charge 2 so no screen. 
It first happened about a week ago and has failed consistently since then - other than this morning it did work. Very odd. 
do your instructions still apply? Should I turn the Fitbit off and then back on and will the link to instructions work for charge 2?
