there is no "share" icon either, regardless of the platform I use.

Sorry, not true.   I am using an android phone, an android tablet, a windows pc, and have the app on both androids.  The icon does not show, regardless of where I look...nor do some of the other icons users are referencing.

I am having the same problem of not finding an account icon.  My fitbit works fine, but I cannot sync.  I use a desktop with Windows 10.  My dashboard does not show the account icon.  I actually have no idea what "app" means because I do not have a smart phone.  Do I have to download something else onto my desktop?  Last February, when we still had windows 7, syncing happened once, automatically some way while my fitbit was plugged in and I was logged in at the website.  Have no idea why this happened, only time in 18 months I have had fitbit.

My Flex 2 does not have a dongle so it will not update on the computer -
the only way to update was via the smart phone. It is possible that the
fitbit will update using WiFi on your computer - i do not know for sure.
There is no desktop account icon for windows 10 - it is a bug - FitBit has
known about it for over a year but I have seen no response to this
problem. RIght now, you can not see FitBit results unless you have a
smartphone. The ONLY reason I bought a iPhone is to see my FitBit info -
the android did not work well..

Sorry

thank you, Darlene.  What is a dongle?  I charge my fitbit by connecting it to my desktop through a special wire included that goes into a usb port.  Is that what it is?  It is strange that it did sync that one time, about 14 months after I began using it, not earlier.  We did have windows 7 then, but it would not connect earlier.

So the problem now is that windows 10 has no icon?  Hm, strange.  My real reason for wanting to sync is that the fitbit loses time over the months (now two minutes behind); and the one time it connected, it corrected the time.

C'est la vie!  I certainly would not want to get the bent-over addiction just to correct the time.  Thanks again, E

Why doesn't someone SHOW a picture of what the "Account Icon" looks like....also, if you have to "pay" to have access to some functionality (which might prohibit someone from seeing this icon), that should be mentioned too.   Still can't find the icon.  And still can't add, SPINNING (spin class) to the "auto recognized exercises".... And one final thought, if a specific exercise is NOT recognized because of the product they own ( like a Fitbit Charge 3), that should be noted somewhere too.

There is no account icon on the PC.

You have to click on the View Settings pulldown (upper right hand corner)
Choose settings and on that page on the left is a menu list and the top
item is Devices.
Click on that to see your devices.

Also I can't find the account icon on my phone anymore either...

Not sure it exists anymore...

Tap Your Face at the top (or where your face is supposed to go, to the left of the word FITBIT), This brings you to the account page, at least it does on my Android Samsung S10e
