Where is the Gear icon on the dashboard

I cannot find the gear button on the dashboard for my Fitbit. It is supposed to be in the top right- hand corner. The only icon I can see there is the'+' icon. I want the find 'settings' for my dashboard. Would appreciate some help

It's nice to see you here in the Community @WEEMAC @SteveH! Great steps @SteveH, loved them.  

It seems that you're seeing your dashboard on your mobile phone and that's why you're getting the "+" instead of the gear icon. The gear looks like the one that our friend @SteveH shared with you on the screen shot. The gear is only available when taking a look at your dashboard by using a regular computer.

That's at www.fitbit.com (when you are logged in to your account)

As @SteveH mentioned, if you pull up your dashboard on your computer by going to fitbit.com, you will see the gear icon to access your settings from there at the top right corner.

If you're on the Fitbit app, by tapping on the icon at the top right corner, you will be able to access your account information where you can also access your settings.

@giggling the posts in this thread are about the web dashboard at fitbit.com not the tracker itself. What setting are you looking for?

If you click the icon of your device to the left of battery and accounts icons in upper right corner, it will take you to settings for silent alarms and other settings  I suspect this is equivalent to the gear icon. Hope this helps.

There is no gear icon i could find but to change the time On my inspire hr i clicked on my picture in the top left corner and then you scroll down until you find advance settings

The gear icon does not seem to show up if you are using Internet Explorer.  It does show up if you use Chrome.

It might be different from one device to the other. I have Android.  If you touch the distance icon on the home screen, the gear is in right corner of next screen.  Hope this helps

What do you mean by "on the web"?? WHERE on the web? Please be specific. I can't find the gear icon on my iPhone fitbit data or on my fitbit dashboard. This is driving me crazy. It all just keeps going in circles and the icon never appears in any places I've had suggested...
