where's my step counter gone?

All of a sudden my step counter has disappeared from my dashboard and has been replaced by a calorie counter. How can I put my step counter back in prime position? Thanks

Hi, @Kentycookies633, on your dashboard scroll down to the bottom and click on "edit". All your "tiles" will begin to vibrate and there will either be an X or a + next to each.

Find your footsteps tile.  If it has a + click on it.  Once all the stats you want are there (i.e. have an x , then you can drag and drop to make it the first / primary one.

If this is easy and makes sense, you are all set.  If not, post again!

If you scroll to the bottom of the dashboard and click "edit". all tiles appear, including hidden ones.  Then you can add your steps tile back in by clicking on + in the ocrner of the tile.

it just isn't there. It's gone, disappeared. That's why I'm struggling to add it, it has disappeared. 😱😱😰😰

In that case, I would suggest re-downloading the app from the iTunes Store, because something had gone wrong!

When you are in the composing message screen click on "photos" in the menu, and upload.

Exactly the same problem

step counter and Sleep monitor have completely disappeared from the app

steps are being countered on the wrist tracker

have tried everything , it’s only 2 weeks old

Hi, @RichardG1313, this is an app issue, and nothing to do with your new Fitbit. 

Please scroll down to the bottom of the main page of the app and click "edit".  If you cannot add in the sleep and step tiles there, then I would suggest deleting the app and reinstalling it from the app store.

This will not cause you to lose any data.  Just please be sure when you log in again you use the same email and password that you used to set up your account.

If you are still having issues after that, please post again letting us know which phone / operating system you are using, and if possible, a screen shot of your main page.  There is always someone here to help.

I have reinstalled the app on several occasions

Also the same problem for a month now—no steps  shown in my app and no option to add it to the list. I tried to post a screen shot and couldn’t. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13.7.
