It’s invisible. How that happens...well, whatever. I circled where you should tap on your phone.

Have you updated your IOS device - I am running version 11.2 of IOS (you
can check in your settings/software update option
And for Fitbit I am running version 24.30.2 for my Flex 2 (which you need
to open the account icon/ profile / Flex 2 😉

Either way there is a work around - on the IOS version in the upper
righthand corner is a share icon (it looks like a square with an arrow
pointing up) the account icon is above it (if you can see it - it looks
like a index card) if you cant see it, it is invisible - click in the area
above the box with the arrow and you should get the account information.

Gotta love invisible icons.

Hi Everyone, If you are looking for your iOS account button after updating to app version 2.43, we are aware it's currently not visible for some users. As mentioned in @DarleneB post above, if you tap above the share icon, it will lead you to your account details.

We hope to have this issue resolved soon, you can check for updates here.

@Marcia62 @haroldz @Marilyn23 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! You should be able to see the "account" icon at the top of the dashboard on the Fitbit app for Windows 10. I left a picture below showing how it looks on that app.

If you are using another platform to set up your tracker, follow the following instructions:

- iOS

- Android

- Windows

- Computer

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

@sshlex Welcome to the Fitbit family! I'm glad to hear you are trying to set up a Fitbit device!

The instruction on the post you quoted are for Windows 10 computer apps. If you are using a Macbook Pro you would like to download Fitbit Connect and using it to set up your tracker. Please check this article for more details about that.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

Angus24,

It has been so long since I had this problem that I really could not
remember how I solved it... I just remember only being able to see the
account icon on my iphone not my PC. And I still can not locate the
account icon on my PC, actually I recall them telling me that the Flex 2
does not talk to the PC and I had to do everything with my iPhone.

Sorry I was not of more help.

Darlene

Thank you , I found it on the Fitbit app, not on the dashboard. I really
should have looked harder.
Again thanks for responding.

I’m trying to set up a calorie count for weight loss on my Fitbit. I was told to open my account icon and select food and nutrition. I have anAlta, almost 2 years old and can’t find any account icon. Would appreciate some help with this. Thank you

Do you have iOS, Android, or Windows?  On Windows, it can be found here:

I cannot locate the account icon either.  I followed the link you provided for Windows 10.  It took me to a set of directions for windows 8.1, then I had to click windows 10 at the bottom of that page and it took me to a looooong list of questions, none of which was where is the account icon..

I have not been able to update my alta sonce I got it in Dec 2017.

Also, my android phone does not automatically update my progress.  Last time it did was on May 2, 2019.  I clicked on the account icon on the app, and it took almost 20 minutes to update since May 2nd.  I thought it was supposed to automatically sync, which is what I set it up to do.... but apparently not.

Very frustrating !!

Your phone does not update itself unless you open the app - so you have to
open the app every day to make sure it updates...
