12 Days of Fitness 2019

For the past couple of years my gym has run a 12 days of fitness challenge and I've posted here for all to join in.  You can start this whenever you see it.  The basic idea is on the first day of Fitness you do the first challenge.  On the second day you do the second challenge AND the first challenge, on the third day you do ... well, pretty much like the 12 days of Christmas song that you know from Bob and Doug McKenzie of Second City TV fame.

 

And ... we are off!

 

On the first day of Christmas @Baltoscott gave to me one minute of push-ups.  (If you can't do regular push-ups, try doing incline push-ups (push-up from a table) or use risers as show in this video).

@Baltoscott @WendyB  Thank you!  I'm gonna try to push it out my system as fast as I can.  I'll still try to do some of these just to try to keep up to y'all.  😋  Wall-sits don't have my sinuses flipped around.

1 minute of push-ups Wall
2 minutes of Planks Wall plank
3 Minutes wall sits
4 minutes of Farmer’s Carry
5 squats with 5 Pulses
6 Arnold Presses
7 Renegade rows Standing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSE3qXvTtJA
8 Weighted step ups but using a step platform I have it is not as high
9 Straight leg Deadlifts.. dont have a bar bell but will do with 20 pounds weight's in each hand
10 Standing long jumps could not find a substitute and there is no way I can do this due to my leg and Hip

@WendyB you are doing great finding alternatives when needed; maybe instead of the standing long jumps you can do lunge twists for both the day 10 and day 11 exercise.

Changed my mind and went ahead and did them today. Already did the others

 

 

1 minute of push-ups Wall
2 minutes of Planks Wall plank

8 Weighted step ups but using a step platform I have it is not as high

12 Modified Burpee

 

Thanks @Baltoscott  I do enjoy these yearly but I often wonder why 😀 Actually I do it pushes me to do different things😄

  • 10 minutes of push-ups 
  • 10 minutes of Planks 
  • 6 minutes of Wall Sits 
  • 5 minutes of Jump Rope  
  • 5 minutes Farmer’s Carry
  • 100 squats with 50 Pulses  at the bottom

  • 18 Arnold Presses   

  • 21 Renegade Rows  with each arm (option: From knees)

  • 30 Box Jumps 

  • 30 Straight leg deadlifts 

  • 40 Standing Long Jumps 

  • 40 Lunge to Torso Twist  each side (no falling over!)

  • Burpees  (you know you love 'em) then decided to swap to 20 overhead presses (17kg weights) and 20 jumping jacks (to show how much I hate burpees!)
